Bay of Fundy tides the world's highest tides and host over 12 species of whales!. Each day 100 million tonnes of sea water flows in and out of the Bay of Fundy during one tide cycle more than the combined flow of the world's fresh water rivers!. The tides in Canada's Bay of Fundy are the most extreme in the world. Because of the unique shapes of the bay, the difference in water level between high tide can be as much as 48 feet(14 meters).
